The Spring HOA Meeting has been scheduled for Thursday, April 16, at 7:30pm at Oakmont Country Club. We invite the community to join us to discuss community updates and ask questions of the Board. We are also seeking new board members. Full agenda TBD.

You’ve asked for it, so we’re planning it. Mark your calendars for April 11 4 to set out the card tables and do some spring cleaning with our neighborhood garage sale.

Items that can be sold
“Personal Property” does not include property that has been consigned to, or acquired by for the purpose of resale.
The personal property for sale shall be set out for display in any open garage, yard, or patio—it must not block a public thoroughfare!
Reasons to have a neighborhood garage sale:
- To promote harmony and strengthen the bond of our neighborhood.
- It is a good way to make money out of items that you and your neighbors may not have any use for.
- It is a good way to get organized.
- People may want to give proceeds to a charity [ie. Goodwill or Salvation Army] or may want to barter for items among neighbors.
- A significant amount of noise is generated at garage sales. Having one garage sale for the year [ideally] reduces this to one day.
- Individuals are conducting numerous garage sales at the same location.
Reminders:
- Have a lot of cash on hand.
- Start marking your items with prices at least two nights before the scheduled garage sale. Also, get your final set up ready by the crack of dawn. This way, you can start selling your items to the “early birds.”
