Fall Board Meeting: October 22.

Brian October 18th, 2009

Its that time of year again for the RobinsonOaks HOA to hold open elections for new Board members. We will also review the 1) minutes of the last meeting 2) current list of the most pressing issues affecting the neighborhood, 3) the financial status of the HOA and allow for open discussion.

Continued Success!!

We believe the single-most important issue to the continued success of the HOA is the election of new Board members. During the meeting, we would also like to answer any questions regarding the specific duties and time commitment assigned to a Board position.

Our residents each have unique professional backgrounds and skills to bring to the table in the HOA. However, we fully recognize that each of us also has time commitments with work and home that may preclude people from participating. Thankfully, the HOA Board member can make that decision of how much and how little of time they can commit. The minimum commitment may be as small as 1 hour per week. Please take a moment to see some of the potential benefits of becoming an HOA Board member:

  1. A chance to create and implement YOUR solutions to improving the status of YOUR investment in the neighborhood.
  1. A chance to strengthen the effectiveness and efficiency of all operational areas within the HOA.
  1. A chance to build resume skills such as public relations, financial, website management, communications, horticulture and project management.

  1. A chance to promote civility and collaboration among board members and homeowners.
  1. A chance to ensure that Board decisions are congruent with the interests of the community.

The Semi-Annual Meeting of the Robinson Oaks Homeowners Association will be held on Thursday, October 22 2009 @ 7:30 pm at The Oakmont Country Club located at 1901 Oakmont Drive.
